The fifth wall. Ceilings finished in wallcovering — grasscloth, metal leaf, hand-painted panels — turn a room’s forgotten plane into its most memorable one.
Ceiling installation demands a different skill set. Ninety percent of failed ceiling papers we've been asked to rescue were installed by crews trained only on walls.

Weight and lift
Metal-leaf and heavy silks require a two-person crew and staging. We plan the installation window separately from wall work.

The moulding line
Where the paper terminates matters more than where it begins. A crown moulding gives us a clean stop; a plain ceiling-to-wall junction wants a shadow-gap detail.

Under-lit at night
Metallic ceilings reflect the fixtures below. Test a sample with the room's actual lamps — not with daylight.
